Green Tea Is The Healthies Beverage on The Planet

Green tea is a very famous beverage and it’s the most consumed tea in the world.

What is green tea good for?

According to studies, regularly drinking green tea may reduce your risk of developing heart disease or Alzheimer’s, help you maintain better bone mineral density, ward off eye diseases that affect vision in older age, prevent strokes, and even green tea can extend your life.

Green tea consists of leaves that haven’t been fermented so they contain the highest level of antioxidants. For example, flavonoid antioxidants account for about 30 percent of the dry weight of green tea leaves.

Green tea has antioxidants and healing compounds including polyphenols, catechins and various other types of flavonoids — the same anti-aging compounds found in things for example blueberries, and dark chocolate. Green tea contains small amounts of caffeine. It has been associated with more health benefits than even many of the healthiest foods available to us. Studies have found that the benefits of green tea are due to the fact that green tea contains more healing compounds than many other herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, and that makes it a healthy beverage.

Benefits of Green Tea

Green tea promotes better health and longevity. Some of the benefits of green tea associated with the consumption of these compounds include reduced allergies, eye health and better vision, skin health, improved immune function, enhanced endurance, and protection from free radical damage and cancer.

Dental Care Is A Way Of Reducing The Risk Of Heart Attach

Are Healthy Teeth Linked To A Healthy Heart?

We all know that brushing teeth is really important if we want to avoid tooth decay and have healthy gums. When we don’t take good care of our mouth, bacteria can cling to our teeth and form a sticky, colorless film called dental plaque.
Are healthy teeth linked to a healthy heart?
Yes, dental care is a way of reducing the risk of heart attack. Science is showing us that healthy gums also help us to reduce the risk of having a heart attack. The link between oral health and the heart has been around for a century. But it has only been in the last few decades that health professionals have taken this link seriously enough to recommend dental care as a way of reducing your risk of heart disease.
Looking after your teeth is vital for your overall health. A research suggested a type of bacteria that causes gum disease could make you more vulnerable to cancer. Scientists found that bacteria attached itself to the parts of the immune system responsible for attacking cancer cells, interfering with their protective role so we know that cleaning teeth properly is really important if we want to live a healthy life.

How to use a manual toothbrush
• Hold your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle toward the gum line.
• When brushing your teeth, move the brush back and forth gently, with a circular movement over the front, back and top (chewing surface) of your teeth. Don’t scrub hard along the gum line; you can irritate your gums.
• Remember to brush (and floss) behind your lower (bottom) front teeth. Use the top bristles of the brush to reach this area. If this area is hard for you to reach with regular floss, try a floss holder or disposable flossers
How to use a rechargeable electric toothbrush

Rechargeable electric toothbrushes are easy to use. It may be worth it if you are more enthusiastic about using an electric toothbrush . Most rechargeable electric toothbrushes operate at anywhere from 5,000 to 30,000 strokes on your teeth per minute, and because of this, it takes less time to do a thorough job. Some rechargeable electric toothbrushes have even more power.

Just hold the electric brush at a 45-degree angle, just as you would a manual toothbrush. Then turn on the rechargeable electric and move the brush from tooth to tooth. The smaller heads of most rechargeable electric toothbrushes usually brush about one tooth at a time, depending on the size of your teeth. Guide the electric brush along the front surfaces, back surfaces, and chewing surfaces of each tooth.

Remember that Even with a rechargeable electric toothbrush, you should spend about two minutes brushing to ensure that you’ve cleaned each tooth. When you’ve finished brushing, simply rinse the brush head with water and allow it to dry.
Tips for cleaning your teeth

If you want to ensure that sugar, acid or debris isn’t left in your mouth after a meal, simply drink a glass of water or chew sugar-free gum to restore your dental pH levels.

Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste twice a day for about two minutes to help keep your teeth and mouth healthy. Plaque is a film of bacteria that coats your teeth if you don’t brush them properly. It contributes to gum disease and tooth decay. Tooth brushing stops plaque building up.

Clean all of your mouth — including the tongue. Not cleaning your tongue can cause a film of plaque to build upon it, which can lead to bad breath and gum disease because you are harboring more bacteria. Cleaning tongue is not hard you can clean your tongue with a toothbrush or you can use special tongue scraper — but don’t be too rough.

Reasons your teeth Look yellow
There are many reasons that teeth become dull and lose their bright, white sparkle. There are certain foods that can stain your enamel, which is the outermost layer of your teeth and also plaque build-up on your teeth can cause them to look yellow. Sometimes teeth look yellow because the hard enamel has eroded away, revealing the dentin underneath. Dentin is a naturally yellow, bony tissue that lies underneath the enamel.
Here are some tips to whiten your teeth naturally.
Baking Soda

Baking soda has natural whitening properties, which is why it’s a popular ingredient in commercial toothpaste. It’s a mild abrasive that can help scrub away surface stains on teeth. Baking soda creates an alkaline environment in your mouth, which prevents bacteria from growing. It will not whiten your teeth overnight, but you will notice a difference in few days.
Studies show that toothpaste with baking soda has a significant whitening effect. One study found that toothpaste containing baking soda were significantly more effective at removing yellow stains from teeth than standard toothpaste without baking soda.
You need to mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of water and brush your teeth with the paste. You can do this a few times per week.
Use Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for centuries as a disinfectant and natural cleaning product. The main active ingredient in apple cider vinegar is acetic acid effectively kills bacteria. The antibacterial property of vinegar makes it more useful for cleaning your mouth and whitening your teeth. It’s also a recognized fact that apple cider vinegar does have a bleaching effect on teeth but you should also keep in your mind that apple cider vinegar may soften the teeth as well. The acetic acid in vinegar has the potential to erode the enamel on your teeth so for that you shouldn’t use apple cider vinegar every day.
To use it as a mouthwash, dilute it with water and swish it around in your mouth for several minutes. Make sure to rinse your mouth with plain water afterward properly every time.
Coconut Oil Rinse
Rinsing your mouth with coconut oil is a very old remedy that people use to whiten their teeth This remedy will be difficult for some people but if you really want to clear your teeth from stains then it does make a difference. It is also supposed to promote gum health and help keep your breath fresh.

You need to take a tablespoon of coconut oil in the morning before you brush your teeth. You can either soften it, or just put it in your mouth and push, swish, and “pull” the oil through and around your teeth for 10-15 minutes, then spit it out, rinse with water, and brush your teeth.

Most citrus fruits have a good deal of vitamin C, and oranges have high levels even compared to their tangy brethren. Not only oranges help reduce the risk of chronic conditions, but they may also boost a person’s immunity when dealing with everyday viruses and infections like the common cold etc.

Prevents constipation

Oranges are a very good source of soluble and insoluble fiber, which helps keep your stomach and intestines healthy by preventing problems like irritable bowel syndrome. Vitamin C also helps keep skin looking beautiful, by helping fight against skin damage caused by the sun and pollution. It is vital to collagen production and may help reduce wrinkles and improve the skin’s overall texture. There’s a reason why oranges are popularly used in the beauty industry. Beauty products including face packs, masks, and creams that are available contain orange extract as a key ingredient. That’s because vitamin C present in oranges also helps prevent skin damage, by eliminating free radicals.

How Organic Food Is Good For Your Health

Healthy Lifestyle

Human beings are a natural part of what happens every day on the planet. By doing things responsibly we create and maintain a beautiful and rich place to live.

When people think of living organic they think of food. This means that you buy foods that are free of fertilizers and pesticides. Eating organic and unrefined food is good for your health and well being.

Living organically means paying attention to consumerists messages and rejecting them if it’s not good for you and your loved ones’ health.

Organic foods may be more expensive but there are hidden costs in conventional food – the cost to our health and environment and much more.

An incredible amount of artificial chemicals end up on conventional food. Avoid these fruit and vegetables: peaches, apples, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, pears, imported grapes, spinach, lettuce, potatoes, sweet bell peppers, and celery.

Children are four times more susceptible than adults to the pesticides that reside in our foods so feed them organic food because the pesticides in our conventional food can harm them.

Farmers should work with each other to find ways, fund research and share their information on how to produce natural or organic food without using pesticides.

Environmental Safe crops are rotated so the soil will not be stripped of natural nutrients. To keep the vegetable garden healthy, avoid repeating the same planting plan in the same spot. Crop rotation is really important to prevent crop-specific pests and diseases from building up and carrying over from one season to the next in the soil.

Organic food is much richer in vitamins, minerals, and fiber and retains the levels of nutrients for longer.

Switching to organic food will enable your body to be more resistant to disease as it will have higher levels of the essential nutrients it needs to fight off infection.

  • Organic foods, especially raw or non-processed, contain higher levels of beta-carotene, vitamins C, D and E, health-promoting polyphenols, cancer-fighting antioxidants and bioflavonoids that help ward off heart disease.
  • On the average, organic food is 25% more nutritious in terms of vitamins and minerals than products derived from industrial agriculture. Since on the average, organic food’s shelf price is only 20% higher than chemical food, this makes it actually cheaper, gram for gram than the chemical food of industrial food production. Levels of antioxidants in milk from organic cattle are between 50% and 80% higher than normal milk. Organic wheat, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, onions, and lettuce have between 20% and 40% more nutrients than non-organic foods.
  • Organic food contains qualitatively higher levels of essential minerals (such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and chromium), that are severely depleted in chemical foods grown on pesticide and nitrate fertilizer-abused soil. UK and US government statistics indicate that levels of trace minerals in (non-organic) fruit and vegetables fell by up to 76% between 1940 and 1991.

If you have not decided whether an organic food and lifestyle is something you would benefit from, consider this, you will not only improve your health but also enhance your energy and help yourself to feel young.

  • Grow organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, and
  • Drink water or make your own juice.
  • Prepare food in a way that doesn’t “kill” the food.
  • Eat to live, don’t live to eat.
  • Spend more time outside, and live in harmony with nature.
  • Use natural organic remedies alternatives to medicines when possible.

The key to landing good deals at farmers’ markets is to ask lots of questions. Ask about misshapen produce that you may be able to buy at a discount, ask about discounts for buying in bulk and always ask what tastes the best. They know, they’ll tell you. Buying at farmers’ markets is actually one of the best-kept secrets to buying affordable, organic food. Top chefs in both Europe and America’s have been doing it for years!

Load up on all your favorite organic fruits and veggies at dirt-cheap prices. This is also a great time to bargain at a local farmers’ market. You may be able to nudge prices down even further by buying in bulk from a local farmer. It never hurts to ask. If they have to move produce that day, you might get bulk orders at a discount.
